Mrs. Phillips
Kindergarten

Mrs. Phillips teaches full-day
Kindergarten. She has been happily married for 26+ years to her best
friend, John. She has four beautiful (from the inside out) daughters,
one practically perfect son, and three of the most loved grandchildren
on planet Earth. Her hobbies include spending time with her family, enjoying
the natural beauty and four distinct seasons of this area, going to the gym,
reading, and playing with her four dogs. She is from Southern California and
loves the wholesome, clean environment of Utah. She graduated from the
University of LaVerne with a degree in elementary education and will be
entering a masters program (hopefully at BYU) as early as summer 2008. She
loves teaching kindergarten at Liberty Academy. The dedication of those with
whom she has the privilege of working and the wonderful little cherubs she
gets to teach are some of her choicest blessings!

Mrs. Echols
Kindergarten |
Mrs. Echols teaches full-day Kindergarten. She
was born in the Fiji Islands, a third generation from origins in India.
She is from a family of 9 children. She self- supported her way
through college beginning in New Zealand, Hawaii, Milwaukee,
Hawaii, Utah and back to Hawaii for graduation. Since marriage she has
lived in Hawaii, Utah, Arizona, Alaska, Iowa, and Utah. Her marriage
has been blessed with longevity and three children two boys and a girl.
She loves reading novels, traveling, movies and being with friends. She
loves children & they love her. Teaching children is natural for
her.

Mrs. Condit
1st Grade
|
Miss Condit teaches first grade. She is a native of Colorado who brings to Liberty Academy a love of education and a thirst for learning. She has a bachelor's degree from BYU-Hawaii and a master's degree from National University of San Diego. She enjoys acting and improvisation and can often be found smiling. She also loves talking with students and helping them to find the same passion for learning that she has found. Stop by and say "Hi!" sometime and you're sure to leave with a smile. |
Mrs. Frampton
1st/2nd Grade |
Mrs. Frampton teaches a first/second combo class. She was
born and raised in Australia. All of her family is still there. She has a
brother and a sister and is the middle child. Mrs. Frampton came over to the
United States five years ago. She came to Utah to play college tennis for
BYU. She has been married for a year in March. She lives in Mapleton with her
husband whose family owns a couple of gas stations. The Framptons are in
charge of the Conoco Gas n' Go/Subway in Mapleton, so feel free to stop by.
She loves playing all sports and doing things outside. Her favorite sports
are tennis and golf. She loves going four-wheeling and camping in the summer
and spending time with her husband on the golf course as often as possible.

Mrs. Felling
2nd Grade |
Mrs. Felling teaches second grade. Barbara
A. Felling graduated from Oakland City University, Oakland City, Indiana,
June 2005 with a Master of Arts in Teaching, in elementary education. She has
a Bachelor of Science in General Family and Consumer Science. She is married
to Forest W. Felling, has two married children, and 8 grandchildren. The
passion to teach and make a difference in children’s lives fuels a teacher’s
desire to be in a classroom teaching. Barbara is that type of person.

Mrs. Nielson
3rd grade |
Mrs. Nielson teaches third grade. She
was born and raised in the Southern part of Canada. She has lived now in Utah
for the last 6 years. She has always loved working with people, especially
children. Children are one of her great joys in life. She has been
married for about a year and a half and absolutely adores her husband. Her
hobbies are painting, outdoor activities, scrapbooking, friends and family,
cooking, nature and going to sport events. She feels honored to teach
her wonderful students.

Mrs. King
4th Grade |
Mrs. King teaches fourth grade. She
graduated from BYU with a BS in Marriage, Family, and Human Development, and
is now pursuing a permanent teaching license through the state's Alternative
Routes to Licensing Program. She loves music, and is able to lead the
Elementary Choir that is in its second semester! Natalie was also
recently married to Dan King who is studying Exercise Science at BYU.

Mr. Bradley
4th grade
|
Mr. Bradley teaches fourth grade. He
is a proud graduate of nearby Springville High School (GO DEVILS!) and
served an LDS mission in the Volga river region of the Russian
Federation in 1998. After collecting various degrees in higher education
in the US, the former USSR and Europe, he returned to Utah to
find that his greatest passion is to teach and inspire students
at Liberty Academy. Mr. Bradley lives in Spanish Fork with his beautiful
wife Sandy and orange kitten Doogle and is also currently pursuing a Ph.
D in Political Science at the University of Utah.

Mr. Green
5th Grade
|
Mr. Greene teaches fifth grade. He has
been teaching for 19 years. He has a masters degree in elementary
education with and ESL endorsement. He and his family live in Spanish
Fork. They have five children. Mr. Greene is a BYU graduate and
earned his masters degree at Adams State College in Colorado.

Mrs. Greer
6th Grade
|
Mrs. Greer teaches sixth grade. She grew up in Grantsville,
Utah and attended BYU. She graduated from SUU in Elementary Education
with minors in Life Science, Physical Science and reading. Mrs. Greer
lived in Richfield, Utah for 25 years where she and her late husband
owned a pharmacy. She has 6 children, 4 boys and 2 girls. After
marrying Dodd Greer in 2002, she gained 6 step-children and 12 step-grandchildren.
She starts Christmas shopping Dec. 26.

Mr. Keely
Science

Mr. Kelley teaches Science in grades 7-10. Mr.
Kelley was born in Southern California but was raised in Utah. He
graduated from Payson High School and Brigham Young University. He has
a beautiful wife, one son, and three daughters. He loves the outdoors,
sports, Math and Science.

Mrs. Thompson
English & History
|
Mrs. Thompson teaches English and
History in grades 7-10. She grew up in the South West of
England. She came to the United States as an International Student
at the University of Utah, where she majored in History, and minored
in Sociology. Education has been a passion of hers for many
years, and she has had diverse experience working with students in many
environments. Liberty Academy is a great venue for her to share
her enthusiasm for learning. Mrs. Thompson's hobbies include
playing the cello and traveling.

Mr. Stephens
Latin |
Mr.
Stephens teaches Latin to seventh graders. He hails from Auburn, WA. This year he will graduate from Brigham Young
University with degrees in Classics (Ancient Greek and Latin) and Russian.
He is also a researcher for BYU's New Testament Commentary project.

Ms. Chapman
Special Education
|
Ms. Chapman is
the Director of our Special Education Program at Liberty Academy. Ms.
Chapman received a B.S. in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology from
Brigham Young University. She completed a two-year post-baccalaureate
program at Brigham Young University, from which she earned a license to teach
Special Education (M/M) and an endorsement to teach ESL. Ms. Chapman is in
her third year teaching students with special needs. A fun fact about Ms.
Chapman is that she has lived in South Africa.
